Hello, peoples. It has come to my attention that my character Elizabeth Winters was PKed last night. Now, I realize I may or may not have much ground to stand on here, however I will explain to the absolute best of my abilities just why I'm writing this appeal and the reasons behind it.
Alright, down inside the base, Elizabeth and the others (Kozak, Overlord, Scout, Rose and Robin) were all planning to take out a unit (711) so Kozak's men (From the Black Coats) could successfully make a nighttime insertion and run supplies down into the base. Elizabeth and Richter (Scout) had been selected for this task by Kozak himself. The objective: Get the unit alone with her, take him to the beach, and have Richter and Elizabeth ambush and drown him. So, she used her ICly acquired REAPER OfC uniform to blend in amongst them. Bear with me here as I list and go through with these specific causes as to what exactly happened and where it went wrong. And I'll start by saying this: It was meta.
Now, why was Elizabeth Meta'd to her eventual demise? How exactly did it happen? I'll explain using the following points:
-There are REAPER units on the server, and I've seen them personally. (The SqM and one 05)
Regardless, the NOVA DvL effectively meta'd her out completely when she was supposed to be undercover, and I'll get to that in a bit.
As I distinctly remember, the DvL checked his *datapad* and said "It seems we don't have a REAPER division here, Unit." Bull excrement, because I've seen those units before. You can't just do that when you're well aware of the MPF Divisions. You're an ADMIN, you of all people should know this.
And yet ANOTHER thing I've noticed as proof: Shadowfire, Zaughi, Pointblank, Time, and Terrence can ALL vouch and agree when I say that DvL 175 (Syphilis Soup) has been reported to me OOCly by them all that his unit is a shotcop, and his other characters have little to no character development or backstory to them, whereas Liz has had three-four years in the works.
-Also, I've come under the impression that yes, everyone occasionally adminges a little... But Time told me and I quote that Syphilis "Does it a little too much."
And before people start to get on me about attacking staff for their actions, I'd like to put a few more words in.
-Sure, a unit wearing an OfC uniform while no other OfC's are present and such is definite grounds for suspicion, but if you think about it this was a starting point leading to a larger event (The fight against the ELITE GHOST SNIPER) Hell, for all I know that DvL could've minged through the scoreboard and said there was no REAPER division because one simply wasn't online.
-Also, a lot of people pointed out that Elizabeth was literally the beating, happy heart of the Rebellious group that she could effectively comfort and bring out the best in others during such dark times with her optimistic attitude and colored personality. By further proving this, she literally took an antisocial, suicidal character and turned him around (Isaac Fields).
-In a sense, yes, this WHOLE thing could've been avoided if Elizabeth simply stayed in the base. However: Kozak was on a "Now or Never" basis with his men, and the group honestly needed the extra support at the time. And I don't wanna really listen to "IC is IC, whatever happens happens." because the same thing happened with Macy and Kari in a similar situation (Shadow's characters.)
-As for Macy, I've heard from Shaddy that she had been alive for two days and was already given 'Due for Amputation' when she probably did nothing wrong. Hell, she probably wasn't even SEEN.
I also would like to take a moment to state that I think Liz honestly didn't get to have that much time with the group, and not getting to know all of them as she would've liked. On this basis of the argument and listed reasons provided, I hope that this can be sorted out in a civil manner be it approval or denial. Thanks for taking such time to listen as I really would like to continue additional development and, if possible, void the entire situation.
